Social gender is relative to the case of physiology sex and its foothold is the social concept of gender culture. The sexual distinction in social gender is not simply split, but given the role of the different connotation, and this role of the conventional connotation controls men and women's social division of labor. Under the circumstance of discourse hegemony of male-dominated culture, men,as well as women, bear the risk and responsibility brought by the division of labor field. Therefore, when we analyze the gender relationship, we can't illustrate the male-dominated culture on women's oppression only and not talk about the culture's influence on men. With social gender theory as theoretical basis and analysis of gender relations as breakthrough point, I will systematically illustrate the gender relationship in the work and how the male-dominated culture oppresses and deprives on male/female by making use of gender division of genger. In the first chapter,I clear up men and women's relation in the work first, and then discuss how Dong Xi shows male-dominated culture's restraining and oppression on female between the helpless women and recreant men.The second chapter is the key interpretation in today's male-dominated culture's harm on men.On one hand,it is the supplementary instruction of last chapter. On the other hand, it analyses Dong Xi's humanistic care for men from male perspective. The third chapter explains these relations and their humanistic connotation from the angle of phenomenon analysis by combining the history that Dong Xi has experienced, present history and male and female's image around him, which can serve as a complement to Dong Xi's novel character study.
