| Felt embroidered is Mongolian ancient traditional handicraft embroidery art; in the Mongolian it is called as "Isegei Sirimel". In Chinese it means embroidered felt, thick seam blanket, felt, embroidery or felt embroidery. This thesis mainly aims at analyzing the value of Hoshuud’s felt embroidery in Inner Mongolia autonomous region’s Alxa regions by studying the development and current situation of felt embroidery heritage and mat embroidery. Along with the development of modern economy, culture and population migration, in order to avoid the decline of felt embroidered gradually, the important issue and responsibility for people is to inherit the traditional value and at the same time melt into the modern aesthetic elements.The first part of the thesis discusses the cultural background of the Mongolian felt embroidery, Alxa area and development history of Mongolian felt embroidery. The second part introduces Alxa area and characteristic of the traditional process through on-the-spot investigation records. The third part analyzes the aesthetic value through the color, pattern, moral subjects and adornment of Alxa Mongolian felt embroidery. The fourth part probes into the inherit of Mongolian felt embroidered terms of the context and the possible development in modern practical art.It is hoped that through the research, national cultural differences caused by a lack of related literature works can be narrowed. In order to success and develop the embroidered under the premise of the traditional characteristic, the application of the aesthetic thought of the new age requires continuous innovation and development. The theoretical basis of this thesis is formed through oral history, image materials as well as literature works. |
