Writing Awareness In Chinese Contemporary Oil Painting Language

Oil painting was introduced from the west to China. After the development for h undreds of years, oil painting doesn't only retain the materials for western oil painting and language's charm, but also is inevitably influenced by Chinese traditional culture. With rapid development of China's economy and continuous improvement of the tim es, Chinese modern oil painting also develops with Chinese national features from tra ditional painting mode. A growing number of artists combine the western oil painting with Chinese traditional painting techniques successively, forming a new painting mo de, which is called "writing awareness" by the author. Through discussion on the eme rgence and application of writing awareness in Chinese contemporary oil painting Ian guage, the author summarizes writing awareness's features in Chinese contemporary o il language, proving the significance of writing awareness in Chinese contemporary oi l language.This paper falls into several parts as follows:the first is the introduction, mainly i llustrating objective, meaning, research status and research methods of this topic as w ell as the feasibility of this research project; the second part traces the source of writin g awareness. It explains the meaning, briefly analyzes the development situation of C hinese contemporary oil painting and elaborates its emergence in Chinese contempora ry oil painting's development; the third part demonstrates the embodiment of writing a wareness in Chinese contemporary oil painting language. Taking Zhao Wuji, Zhu Deq un, Qi Haiping and Xia Junna as examples, the author proves the importance of writin g awareness in Chinese contemporary oil painting language by analyzing its applicati on in these artists'paintings; the fourth part summarizes the features of writing aware ness in Chinese contemporary oil painting language through analysis on the painting s tyle of the above artists; the fifth part presents conclusion and also expectation for app lying writing awareness in Chinese contemporary oil painting language. All in all, with the continuous improvement of China's comprehensive national strength and the development and progress of Chinese painting in the international status of the Chinese contemporary oil painting written language awareness will become a new form of painting expressive.
