The Ethical Values In Ian Mc Ewan’s Novels

Famous British writer Ian McEwan caused extensive concern of the society from all walks of life and evaluation just because of his sharp style of writing, exaggeration of the plot and the unique ethical perspective since his novel published. In his forty years writing career, he sought and explored the modern’s complex psychological course and mental activity, broke through the traditional literary interpretation of ethics. Through close reading of text, it is easy to find that, whether the frightening content and ethical taboo topic his early works showed, or the diversified perspectives and rich subject matte of his late works, they are all to let readers explore the possibility of human nature in depth from another Angle. It is worth exploring that thinking about moral and ethical problem is always the theme through all his works.This paper uses the ethical literary criticism method to study McEwan’s novels.It investigates, analysis and identifies the causes of ethical issues,ethical issues and ethical values in McEwan’s novels writing. And it also reveals the ethical significance of literature with the examples of McEwan’s novels.The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is the chapter2, this part by McEwan’s novels creation of ethical environment investigation, analysis, mainly reveals the McEwan’s novels concerned with the problem of ethics; The second part is the chapter3, this part is main to investigate and analyzed McEwan creates in the novel in mainly face of social ethics problem;The third part is the chapter4, this part is main to investigate and analyzed ethics value system in the McEwan’s novels. The whole thesis according to reason analysis, problem analysis, countermeasure analysis of the way expand the thought.
