"Hui dialect" is a name that was first proposed in the "Language Atlas of China" which was published in 1987, including southern of Anhui, a part of Zhejiang and Jiangxi. There are many complex situations and great differences between some sub-dialects of the Hui dialect, so the academia is still a lack of a comprehensive system of demarcation standard, thus arguing on its ownership is more difficult, and it's hard to determine whether it should be independent for a region or merged into other dialect.Taking the development of Rusheng in Hui dialect as research content, this paper analyses the characteristics of Hui dialect from two aspects:the evolution of tone and the merger of Rusheng Yun. This paper also compared the evolving characteristics of Rusheng in Wu dialect, Gan dialect and Jianghuai Mandarin, aiming at providing a new angle on the study of adscription of Hui dialect. This paper can be divided into three sections:the first two chapters is the first section, it mainly arranges and analyzes the evolution of the tone and Rusheng Yun about Hui dialect, then generalizes the types and regularities of the development. The third chapter is the second part, which analyzes the evolutions of the tone and Rusheng Yun about Wu dialect, Gan dialect and Jianghuai Mandarin, compares with the Hui dialect to draw a clear distinction of the tensions between the three dialects and Hui dialect. The fourth chapter is the third part of the article, it analyzes the attribution of Hui dialect combining geography, history and the form of Hui dialect on the basis of research of the first three chapters.Through the comparative analysis, Hui dialect and Wu dialect not only has close relationship in the phonetic evolution, but also has profound historical origin in the process of human development. Therefore, we can say that Wu dialect includes Hui dialect.
