Chinese modern literature writing on the one hand, conform to the trend of The Times, "figure" in history, with history of literary paradigm opening the image of China in the 20 th century literary history writing; Illustrated the writing experience, on the other hand writing of literary history, also is to follow the law of the development of the discipline of its own, strive to break through the existing writing paradigm. So we can't deny the visual experience and creative breakthroughs in the image writing of literary history.The writer from the angle of “the image turn”, applies image theory and Visual theory, takes Chinese New Literature Disposition, The History of Modern Chinese Literature, and The History of Chinese Modern Popular Literature as examples, finds out the unique features and valuable characteristics in the writing of modern Chinese literature. The present thesis analyzes the background of writing, new features and status of literary history, shows the breakthroughs and innovation in the history of literature, writing skills and writing paradigm, then reveals the meanings and realistic significance of image writing in literary history.
