The Study Of Synonyms In English Translation Of Chinese Course

Vocabulary is the basis of learning a certain language. A good foundation of vocabulary is important in learning a language. Synonyms learning is the most important and difficult part. The English translation of synonyms plays an important role in the process of learning and teaching, no matter to the Foreign Language teachers or the learners.With the help of Chinese Course, This article will study the problems,causes and the suggestions in the English translation of synonyms, from the perspective of synonyms meaning.There are four parts in this article:The first part, introduction. Starting from the background of the topic, we find some synonyms teaching problems in Chinese Teaching,then define the significance of this topic.The second part, The statistics and analysis of the English translation of synonyms in Chinese Course. This chapter will analyze the synonyms which is counted by the author to find the problems. First, To determine the angle of the analysis of synonyms translation, we mainly process this in three aspects, the semantics, the syntax and the pragmatics. Then analyze the problems of synonyms translation in Chinese Course.The third part, the reason caused the problems of synonyms translation in Chinese Course. Based on the problems found in Chapter two, we will find the reason caused the problems of synonyms translation.They are, the reason in compiling the teaching materials, the reason in the difference between the language of English and Chinese, the reason in the difference between the culture of English and Chinese.The fourth part, Based the problems and the reasons cause the problems as we mentioned before.We’ll analyze the principles, methods and suggestions of synonyms translation.
