Preliminary Study On Lv Zuqian's Initiation Education

Initiation Education is the foundation of one's whole education career.Its purpose is to cultivate enlightenment children with good habits and help them to set up the basic moral ethics.The initiation education in Song dynasty got further development under the background of education's popularization.As a famous educator and philosopher in Song Dynasty,Lv Zuqian had a wide range of knowledge and wrote abundant works which were related with enlightenment education.He was an important scholar throughout the history of ancient history and education.Among all his works,the two books Shao yi wai zhuan and lv's records of the book of songs put his initiation education into the daily habits and moral enlightenment of reading and practice.Through the fine words and deeds,his aim is to help the infant and beginners learn from the right view and form a perfect value system of themselves which is closed with daily life and the future.This article starts from the research on the backgrounds.The social transformation of Song Dynasty promoted the development of education.Also the initiation education was flourishing.His family attached great importance to teaching and learning.These were the important factors affecting the formation of his initiation education.Then in the second part,i analyze Lv Zuqian's philosophical system which is the foundation of initiation education.In his ontology,the Idea is the principle of the whole world.The Etiquette is its external expression.Finally,he required the enlightenment children to follow the principle and never go against the Idea.In his Mind-nature theory,he thought highly of the Heart which must be protected carefully.After that,he put forward some cultivation ways.For example,children should have a good attitude and know what and how to learn before study.Through learning,children should make unremitting efforts.In the last part of this article which is the most important part,i combine his philosophical system with his enlightenment books.After carefully reading,i summarize the important education concept.The first is setting up a far and fright ambition.The second is learning from the sages of ancients because of theboundless power of good examples.The third is his teaching method.He emphasizes that children should combine knowledge with daily practice.Research on Lv Zuqian 's initiation education ideology has an undoubtedly realistic significance.He taught initiation children to form good habits,establish the right value and ethical concept through the daily life.Above all,research on Lv Zuqian's initiation education ideology can provide theoretical basis and historical experiences for modern education,especially for the Childhood Education.
