The Research On Jiang-zhai Poetry Talks Situated Cognition

Wang Fu-zhi, an outstanding theorist who has a combination of versatile talent on Classical Situated Cognition. His achievements and thoughts mainly manifests in his great literary work Jiang-zhai Poetry Talks. On Classical Situated Cognition,not only he made a systematic summary for predecessors,but also made a breakthrough and creation on these theories. Though his endeavor, he pushed forward Chinese Lyric Poetry to peak,and also made situated cognition to form a complete theoretical system.Wang Fu-zhi stated the concept “Poetry conveys emotional” through his Jiang-zhai Poetry Talks.In this book,he emphasized the importance of sincere feelings,and opposed those who “writing poetry for dignitaries”. Also he objected to poetry mutual imitation in all kinds of sects and factions.Secondary, he stressed poetry should creatively absorb traditional Confucianism spirit under the poetry art aesthetic. Also he against poetry express personal utilitarian desires. He considered the poetry should describe the world with “Virtue” and “sincere emotion”.Simultaneously, he opposed “sentimental overflows” and advocated gentle and soft expression.About scene, he emphasized that we should put first instinct in poetry creation, that means ”to experience by ourselves, to see by our eyes”. This is so-called “truth”.He improved our concept of “scene” from narrow natural landscape to objective existence and human. From the view of aesthetic, he also advocated the connection of feelings and scene.Wang standing on view of aesthetic,he discovered the process of feelings and scene expressed in prefect harmony. He raised “the scene brings back memories“ and ”feelings have an influence on scenes” to the highlight of closely link, that let us know both of them have closely connection. About this discussion, Wang had been gave us some expansions. Starting from philosophy”heart and feelings”,he advocated to use “heart” and “feelings” to look around the world, then can it meet the demanding of poetry creation. Second, he inhabited the concept “A sudden flash of inspiration” to stress the “marvelous” and “insight ” on feelings and scene.Another,he leaded the Buddhist concept “Xian Liang” to underline the importance of first instinct in poetry creation.On situated cognition, Wang Fu-zhi achieved breakthrough and innovation in the conclusion of predecessors.He based on the concept of literary ontology and broke the predecessors` narrow point of view to proved the scene and feeling are indivisible. He raised “Xian Liang”theory to explain the reaction between feelings and scene reasonably. And then he contribute to build an Dialectical unification system on situated cognition. Wang Guo-wei `s “Situated Cognition” theory was born in Chinese Classical Situated Cognition. Then Wang Fu-zhi was regards as a bridge founder on this theory.
