Study On Wang Wanping’s TV Narrative Art

《Golden wedding》、《Sweet Honey》《Happiness As Flowers》、《If life has cheated you》、《Dissipation》、《Golden wedding ⅱ》……all these TV plays enjoyed by a wide audience are all written by Wang Wanping who is named as "the golden screenwriter of marriage subject". Throughout all these TV plays which have a high ratings once broadcast, we can clearly see that in her works Wang concentrates her own narrative point on discussing love, marriage, and family, and tries to get insight into the original pure beliefs and pursuits on marriage and love that she always stick to. She is therefore called “half expert on marriage issues”As an outstanding representative of TV screenwriter, Wang creates so many popular and critical acclaimed works which rarely show such sharp social topics as the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, “instant marriage and instant divorce”, “keeping a mistress”. On the contrary, she would prefer to let characters to be honed in years long, to perform and show their sense of fate and vicissitude as time goes by and changes. Moreover, she pays attention to humanity with her unique humanistic feelings, expresses beautiful and warm emotions. The paper attempts to focus on Wang’s creative features of subject, structure, conflict,character and more in her TV plays from the perspective of Narratology, thus shows her important role in the art development of TV plays.
