Currently, mobile internet is developing rapidly in swift trend, and media reading habits of audiences have gradually changed in such process.Evolving from traditional media, mobile news client-side has won a tiny place in new media(Weibo and Wechat) tide and received the favor of more and more users relying upon powerful resources information channel,real-time information push, as well as convenient and rapid interaction.Traditional paper media is in the “severe winter” of newspaper industry,and under the pressure of new media and big data, the market pattern of mobile news client-side shall meet reshuffling situation facing with increasingly fierce competitions.By virtue of researching the transformations in new media era and seizing the changes in audience reading experience, this paper expounded on the historical cause of current new media phenomenon changing from flourish to decadence and then seizing transformation in paper media transmission.On such basis, it elaborated the intersection point between “reading thinking” and “design thinking”, sought information transmission mode difference between traditional paper media and mobile news client-side,and predicted that the latter shall exhibit more abundant visual design,creating brand-new reading experience to audiences. Utilizing internet information transmission advantages under new media context, it advocates people-oriented visual design as per reading psychology demand changes,which is crucial for achieving success by news client-side.
