Annette Messager And Her "Eccentric Zoo"

This project based on British Biological Anthropologist Desmond Morris's theory. The author referred to some other significant books and datum, discussed and explained the relationship between human beings and animals, human society and animal's population by deeply analyzing Annette Messager and her artworks.This thesis revealed the artist Annette Messager and her art works and the "eccentric zoo" that it had mentioned plenty of times. This thesis is focus on the Annette Messager's special themes, such as:the odd zoo, family stories, the mysterious society. Analysis of the unique materials be selected from the artist paintings, pictures, soft toys, collections and any other aspects. Through the longitudinal carding and horizontal expansion, like stitching, drawing, using power devices and so on, in order to exhibit Annette Messager's artistic language, to made sure that the reader can understand the art life stages of the artist and her artworks.
