Compilation of three schools of poetry works is the richest in the period of Jiaqing and Daoguang, but “San Jia Shi Yi Shuo Kao” written by Chen Shouqi and Chen Qiaocong becomes the most complete in the three schools of poetry collection works, especially the book of “Lu Shi Yi Shuo Kao” which has abundant content and careful research. Through the study of “Lu Shi Yi Shuo Kao”,we can take a small part to open the tip of the iceberg of “Lu Shi Yi Shuo Kao”, further understand the three schools of poetry work of the Han Dynasty, strive to a point with face and show the collection achievement of Chen Shouqi and his son academic thoughts about Han Dynasty and Song Dynasty and heritage exchange.Chen Shouqi was born in Fujian and he studied on Zhu Xi Neo-Confucianism in a strong atmosphere in Fujian. He learned from Ruan Ran, and was influenced by Qian Da Xin and Duan Yu Cai after being an officer. Finally he formed his own style, and had an influence on the Academic atmosphere about Min Di and Qin Dynasty. Chen Qiaocong inherited his father’s ambition, at the same time,he also has an independent academic character, With the research methods of Chinese Classics to arrange new text school, successively supplying collection “Lu Shi Yi Shuo Kao”,and composing “Shi Wei Ji Zheng”volume four, “Qi Shi Yi Shi Xue Shu Zheng ”Volume two,Li Tang Jing Shuo Volume two,Jin Wen Shang Shu Jing Shuo Kao thirty Volume and so on,so many works,making them present interoperability, so many works make them present interoperability and make them complement each other.The father and son of Chen family achieved a lot by collecting anecdote materials to be The Book of Songs,which is the result of many facotrs,including individuals and society. At first, with the impulse of retro thinking from Qing Dynasty, people’s interests in The Book of Songs changed gradually from “Shi Ji Zhuan”which represents the learning of Song Dynasty about The Book of Songs,to“Xu”, “Zhuan”,“Jian”,“Shu”,which represents theory of The Book of Songs,which is “Mao Shi” from Donghan Dynasty,and then dated back to The Book of Songs from Xihan dynasty, making the collection of The The Book of Songs an crucial part of researches in The Book of Songs from Qing dynasty. Sec Chen family compiled so many books including “Jing Shi Zi Ji”. For example “Lu Shi Yi Shuo Kao”, Chen Shouqi collect classic book,including thirtheen Confucian classicses,six history books,ten collections;Chen Qiao Cong’s collection is more abundant,including twenty-two Confucian classicses,nineteen history books,twenty-two sub book works,fifteen collections(detailed information is shown in the chart).Chen family compiled so many books including “Jing Shi Zi Ji”. For example “Lu Shi Yi Shuo Kao”, Chen Shouqi collect classic book,including fourteen Confucian classicses,six history books,twelve ebook,eleven collections;Chen Qiao Cong’s collection is more abundant,including twenty-seven Confucian classicses,eighteen history books,twenty-two sub book works,fifteen collections(detailed information is shown in the chart).In format, all the information included is “Lu Shi Yi Shuo Kao” are signed to show where it comes from explicitly. In content, this book is not only a union of materials, but Chen’s personal opinions or other’s opinions quoted by Chen. They explained and checked the compiled information.“Lu Shi Yi Shuo Kao”has own its characteristics. One,Making rules as compilation principles, collecting the lost materials, they inherit the spirit of “Lu Shi” by the masterpiece Zhixuand“Xulu”.Two,Based on previous work, and rendering the era of The Book of Songs instructors as a gap, it shows a deep understanding of history and art research by direct quote, certification from the essay, or comparison of different materials.Three,It collect many materials from pioneers, and checked or adjust many information by comparison between different pieces. This will be inconvenience and misleading; second, there is no uniform principles of collection, bibliographic references is incorrect; Third, they based on Han teaching rule to collecet material, The source of some materials is forced.As the most achieving works in in the mid-Qing Dynasty, “San Jia Shi Yi Shuo Kao” edited the form of Wang Yinglin and Fan Jia Xiang and so on. It broke through the previous work in content to a great extent. Wang Xianqian gave a high evaluation for this book and introduces large number of references in Wang’s work. Although Wang Xianqian’s “Shi San Jia Yi Ji Shu” are always treated as the master of the three "poetry" compiling, but it can’t take place of the position of “San Jia Shi Yi Shuo Kao”in academic history. |
