Among the post positive adverbial modifiers construction, the adverbials of quantity and the one of adding contained in the preceding as well as the ones of time such as the of successive exist widely both in Kam-Tai Languages and Southeastern Chinese dialects. However, when the adverbials are about frequency?degree?modal?manner and negation, they distributed throughout Kam-Tai Languages while not same in Southeastern Chinese dialects, but when it comes to the adverbial of re-running, it is always incorporated in the one of adding in Kam-Tai Languages while it exits independently in Southeastern Chinese dialects; Among the ditransitive construction,There exits form B in both of the two types of languages, which should be the basic and fundamental construction. Even though the two use form A and prepositional phrase as complement form so often, but they are still different from each other besides their similarities; Among the comparative construction, they have something in common while different from each other, some of the two types of languages have abundant alternative forms, and the inherent forms will always compete with the ones borrowed from other languages. Meanwhile, the origins and procedures of forming for the construction are also diverse apart from the similarities. From the perspective of cognitive linguistic theory such as constitutive theory, typology theory ? semantic feature theory and language substratum theory as well as language contact theory, we try to explain why the differences and similarities or the features are generated. The thesis will be shown in five divided parts. The first part is the introduction, it will briefly introduce the research object?the overview of the previous researches?the method?the source of materials and the aim of the research. The second part is the first chapter of this thesis, there are three sections, section one is to compare the post positive adverbial modifiers between Kam-Tai Languages and Southeastern Chinese dialects, it will go on by the sequence of adverbials of quantity?degree and scope, adverbial of time and frequency and adverbial of modal?manner and negation. We will compare the two types of languages from interior to exterior. Section two will explain the differences or the similarities on the distribution and districts as well as on the semantic and the prominent features from the perspective of what we have mentioned. Section three will make a conclusion on this part. The third part is the second chapter, there are also three sections, section one is to compare the ditransitive constructions between Kam-Tai Languages and Southeastern Chinese dialects, it will go on by the sequence of the definite forms: form A?form B?prepositional phrase as complement form and compound verb form, and the comparative points are same as the first chapter. Section two will explain them and probe into the inherent construction form and reasons. Section three will also draw the conclusion. The fourth part is the third chapter for this thesis, and there are three sections too, Section one is also to compare comparative construction between Kam-Tai Languages and Southeastern Chinese dialects, it will also go on by the sequence of the definite forms: the one without marks, the one with single mark, the one with double marks in the term of quantity and location of the marks, and the comparative points are same as the first chapter too. Section two will explain them and also try to probe into the forms' development and its historical level. Section three will also summarize this chapter. The fifth part is to summarize the full thesis and also point out the defects of the thesis and the anticipation for the research in the future. We will append the bibliography as well as acknowledgement at the end of thesis.
