Since the beginning of the popularity of KaiShu,Xingshu and Caoshu in East Jin Dynasty,a new aesthetic of calligraphy had been spread,Also,a complete system was formed on the techniques and on the aesthetic standard gradually. This system differs from the previous Zhuan,Li aesthetic system forming a new content of aesthetic of Chinese calligraphy tradition.Since then,ZhuanShu,Lishu and Kaishu,Xingshu,Caoshu gradually developed as classic and modern Chinese calligraphy aesthetic and techniques systems. These two systems have different aesthetic trend,so the Chinese calligraphy development later was basically inside these two systems. With the establishment of new XingCao system and over 100 years'development during the NanBei and Sui Dynasty,Xingshu has gradually developed as the mainstream of Chinese calligraphy.Caoshu at the beginning of Tang Dynasty was during a dormant period, its development was inferior to the later era.Since then, from The glorious age to the middle age of Tang Dynasty, this was an important period of the Chinese calligraphy development during which the Caoshu developed. However, after Emperor Taizong of Tang, the development of production promoted the economic prosperity. The ethos of arts and culture at that time trended gradually to be Majestic, heroic, powerful, profound,so was the aesthetic style of that time.Calligrapher exemplified by Xu Zhang and Huai Su,pushed the KuangCao to a monumental climax. In this new period, they focused on showing the expressive force of Caoshu.Using their solid foundation of calligraphy, skilled techniques and very creative imagination, they promoted the KuangCao in Tang dynasty to perfection and started a new summit of Caoshu development which had a very important impact to the later and overseas calligraphy development. The form of Kuangcao has not only its unique characteristic but also the common feature of calligraphy. The theory and summary coming from the study on the aesthetic and art form of KuangCao in Tang Dynasty inspire both the current copying and creation very much.
