The Thinking On Contemporary Thematic Painting Of Brushwork Figure

The thematic painting has led the mainstream of Chinese painting and taken on a trend of development. Brushwork as an indispensable component of artistic language in Chinese painting composing, it plays an irreplaceable role in thematic painting.With the rapid development of economy and frequent exchanges of culture, the past thirty year witnesses that Chinese artists broadens their horizons and thinking. Under the influence of era, the way of thinking of artists is represented in painting styles and painting skills.Tang Yongli is a famous painter on contemporary brushwork who has accomplished outstanding achievement in personage brushwork painting. This thesis takes a sample of his thematic painting “The Birth of New China” to explore its artistic charm of personage brushwork and the significance of current cultural background to thematic painting. The study firstly arranges the thematic painting of personage brushwork, analyzes the features of Tang Yongli 's thematic painting. After that the analysis, it elaborates my reflection on thematic painting of contemporary personage brushwork.
