With the diplomatic poems in the Tang Poetry as the research object,this thesis will be developed in the following seven chapters:In the first chapter,there is an overview of the poems.First,the poems will be counted according to the record of Tang Poetry,and then the main content will be generalized and discussed in different parts.From the second part to the sixth,the poems will be classified in terms of the areas where the diplomatic objects lived and explored.According to the countries and areas,that is Silla,Japan,Tibetan regime in ancient China and Uighur.First of the discussion of the background of the writing of the poems,It starts with the interior political situation from Tang dynasty to the overseas.and the whole context of time to reveal the diplomatic situation situation in Tang dynasty.Second,the analys of the poems.The poety in different periods will be summeried accoeding to the writing characters anh the general styles.Thus,they calld be classfiled into two groups:the exchange through cultural transmission and the exchange in Way of the resolve of conflicts.Except for the gavermented dispatch,private association,the nongovernmental exchange is also important ways in diplomacy.The thes is to present the diplomatic attitudes and the conscionsness of foreign affairs in different commanities,such as the emperor officer scribe hermit clergy.Third the system of tributes and the diplomatic system will be representted.Besides,the politics,academy,culture,religion and the fasion of peoples between Tang dynasty and the overseas peoples will as well be included.At last in the seventh,chapter the value pf the poems will be anakped,including the Tang diplomatic characters thrauph the poems and Tang diplomatic situation in Tang.Besides,their value for the Tang diplomacy and the subsequent materials will also be explored.
