Tomos oil painting art was full of rich grassland feelings, there were distinctive artistic features in the selection of subject and expression.Central Academy of Fine Art gave Tomos a very strong painting foundation by the eight-year study. He continually absorbed variety of cultural elementsin the exploration and expression to art. He was always chasing the artistic innovation, and his achievements in the field of art opened up a broad space for the new type Chinese oil painting art. It was worthy to learn for our younger oil painting generation. He haddeep feeling for Inner Mongolia and deep memory for grassland, and most of his oil paintings were related to the grasslands. His oil paintings mostly adopted realistic expression and absorb the essence of Chinese traditional culture and the western painting characteristics to form his own artistic stylegradually. His oil paintings were able to bring us traditional Chinese painting flavor, "Daxieyi". At the same time, there were obviously modern characteristics on the expression of his paintings. His painting was diversified;this caused that Tomos's paintings have not been covered in the era of artistic charm.Tomos never stopped the chaseto art, he constantly improved their own personal ability, continuously achieved the best personal status. As an artist with the social responsibility, his paintings brought us not only the enjoyment on the vision, we could clearly realize the sincere attitude to the art. In the other hand, he also was an art educator, he had deep influence in the painting field to Inner Mongolia and even the whole China. He promoted the birth of "the grassland painting style" and taught many excellent painters for Inner Mongolia. As China's third generation of oil painters, he madea great contribution on both exploring national oil painting and the innovation of artistic language as his artistic achievement.
