Chinese culture has a long history,as a part of Chinese culture,Chinese music is extensive and profound,which has more than 5000 years history,is one of the representatives of Chinese culture.Now, Chinese pop music is also a mirror which can reflect the social environment.The purpose of this study intended to making college students have a better understanding of Chinese music in Prince of Songkla University so that they can have a better understanding to Chinese culture.Thailand,which has the largest people who learn Chinese in the Southeast,nearly 1/3 Chinese volunteer teachers were dispatched to Thailand by Hanban.Different from the others universities, The Prince of Songkla University is one of the most important university in southern Thailand,The purpose of this study intended to making college students have a better understanding of Chinese music in Prince of Songkla University so that they can have a better understanding to Chinese culture.This paper is divided into five chapters, the first chapter describes the relationship between music and language, and the second chapter describes the role of music in China Foreign Teaching Chinese, The third chapter analysis the value of Chinese Music in the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from three aspects.Thefinal part is an outline of Chinese Music lessons of Prince of Songkla University in Thailand.
