This thesis is a translation report based on Chapter Seven on Building a Better Teacher, a professional book about education and teaching, written by Elizabeth Green. There are many detailed and vivid teaching cases in this book which introduces a new generation of educators exploring the sophisticated science underlying their art and demonstrates the unexpected complexity and challenge of teaching. This chapter is of great significance and valuable. This project mainly consists of five parts. The first part introduces the translation project, including the background, value and structure of it; the second part mainly analyzes the original text, including the introduction of the author and the stylistic features of the original text; the third part mainly introduces the translation theory, that is, dynamic equivalence theory and its application; the fourth part is about the translation difficulties and the corresponding methods under the guidance of translation theory. In this translation project, there are many acronyms, specialized terms, and long and complicated sentences, which are not easy for the translator to translate, so, in order to handle these translation difficulties successfully and achieve the translation goal, the translator will mainly use some translation methods, such as, conversion, amplification, omission and so on under the guidance of Nida's dynamic equivalence theory and Reiss' s text typology theory, aiming to make the target readers understand the translation and learn something from it. The last part is mainly about the lessons learned from the translation practice and problems to be solved.
