| The Analects of Confucius is the Confucian classics, which recorded the words and deeds of Confucius and his disciples. It has profound influence to the later generations. Credibility is the base for any individual to settle and survive in a society; it’s the essential need for people to develop the relationship and credibility is the fundamental principle for people to rule a country. Confucianism connect the sincerity and benevolence. They pay great attention to the humanitarian ethics and the cultivation of virtue. Sincerity is represented in the form of “respect” and “ceremony ”,in the pursuit of “beauty” and “goodness”, and put into practice by “loyalty ” and “contribution”. Thus “sincerity” is the foundation of the moral and ethic thought of the <The Analects of Confucius>.This article mainly discusses the literariness of the Analects of Confucius from the perspective of sincerity and its literary features through the method of text.The first part is in the study of the Analects of Confucius were reviewed and the research ideas and methods in this paper.Secondly, demonstrates literary characteristics of the Analects of Confucius from the “sincerity” and “respect”, which is Rhetoric Made its Sincere, honest narrative, speak the pragmatic theory of truth.Thirdly, demonstrates narrative sincerity meticulous from the “sincerity” and “reality”. No matter whether omitted narrative background or not,it’s full of precise details.The fourth part demonstrates imagery argument from ideographic perspective. From the relationship between “sincerity” and “beauty”. we can find that a large number of rhetorical devices is used to create shape, interpret meaningful elegant image.The fifth part demonstrates the rhetoric pursuit of expressiveness from the “sincerity” and “directness”,language style elegant and sensible enhances the development of literature.The sixth part demonstrates the “sincerity” as the essential concept has significant impact, and from this perspective to explore the deep meaning of the Analects of Confucius. |
