The Research On Phonetic Types Of Plosives In Xinhua

There is little reseach about Xinhua dialect, not to mention the experimental anal ysis. This article selects Big Bear Mountain(belong to Zhenshang town),Xihe town a nd Luguan town as the representatives, combined with the theory of experimental phon etics, studies the VO T(vowel onset time),spectrum,signal to noise ratio,the pitch of vo wel and so on,as the acoustic features of plosive.The article can be divided into six chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the Xinhua's history, geography, culture, langua ge and so on, elaborates the present research situation of Xinhua dialect, Xiang dialect a nd Wu dialect, as well as the purpose and significance of this study.The second chapter of the article presents the experimental material, procedures, ins truments,the brief information of the speakers, statistical analysis method and the dialect background materials.In addition, this chapter distinct the concept which are easy to be misunderstood.The third chapter to the sixth chapter is the experimental part, mainly studies the vo ice on set time(VOT), stop after starting pitch, spectral slope, HNR,Shimmer, Jitter and other aspects of Xinhua Big Bear Mountain, Xihe town and Luguan town of plosive.Thro ugh the experimental data of each acoustic parameter analysis, we found the Bear Mounta-in have voiced, which is different from Wu “qingyinzhuoliu", "breathy voice" and "slack voice". Xihe town and Luguan town dialect have not found the sound, but there exists bre athy voice, and the initial pitch, spectral slope(H1-H2, H1-A1, H1-A2, H1-A3) plays a ver y important role in distinguishing the two dialects stops, in Big Bear Mountain and Xih e, HNR, Shimmer and Jitter play a important role in distinguishing plosive, but not obvi ous in the Luguan dialect.The final chapter mainly summarizes the experimental research,compared to the voicless, the pronunciation of the voiced is more laborious, in addition to a very important reason is that the locals migrant workers has increased every year, the impact of a larger composition by Mandarin, therefore, the local voiced Gradually toward voiceless and gradually disappear. Xinhua does not exist voiced of tongue, which is mainly attributed to the articulation of the relationship, it 's not easy to sustain itself, specifically for the tongue by the site.Finally,The concluding section summarizes the main conclusions and the insufficiencies in this article.
