Objective: To assess the effect and clinical significance of Neutrophyl Lymphocyte Ratio(NLR)on proteinuria in Systemic Lupus Erythematosu(SLE)patients. Methods: 1.We retrospectively analyzed the hospital records of all patients diagnosed as SLE(N=105),in the Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital between May 2015 and May 2017.2.According to the level of proteinuria, all cases were divided into group A(proteinuri≤0.5g/d)and group B(proteinuria>0.5g/d).3.The relationship between NLR and urine protein was statistically analyzed.Results:1.There was significant difference in NLR between the two groups. The NLR values of the patients with group B were higher than group A[group B=3.24(2.28,4.90),group A=2.17(1.48,3.18),P=0.003].2.In multifactor Logistic analysis, the NLR value is the major risk factor for the increase in the level of proteinuria in SLE patients. With the increase of NLR value, the level of proteinuria in the patients also increased.3.There were also significant differences in e GFR,BUN,Scr,UA,ALB,GLB,TG,24 h urinary protein,ESR,complement C3,fibrinogen,and SLEDAI levels between the two groups, which had an effect on the urinary protein level of the patients.4.UA and ALB were risk factors for proteinuria,UA was positively correlated with proteinuria, and ALB was negatively correlated with proteinuria.Conclusions:1.Urinary protein can be used as a predictor of kidney injury in systemic lupus erythematosus.2.The ratio of neutrophils to lymphocyte and blood uric acid are independent risk factors for the increase of proteinuria in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. The two is in direct proportion to the level of proteinuria in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. But the ratio of neutrophil to lymphocyte is the main risk factor.
