Objective:The purpose is to evaluate the relationship between serum uric acid and urinary protein in systemic lupus erythematosus patients, aim to provide some data support for the prevention and treatment of proteinuria in SLE patients during clinical work. Methods:By retrospectively collected 138 clinical cases of SLE diagnosed at the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University from May 2015 to May 2017.According to the 24 h urine protein level,138 SLE patients were divided into non-proteinuria group and proteinuria group.24 h urinary protein >0.15 g was defined as proteinuria group, otherwise non-proteinuria group.Compared the differences in age, estimated glomerular filtration rate, blood uric acid levels, and systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index in the two groups, then using SPSS statistical software analysis and conclusion.Results:1.A total of 138 patients with SLE were collected. The ratio between males and females was approximately 1:9(14 males and 124 females). The detection rate of total proteinuria was 63.04%(87/138).Proteinuria of male SLE patients The detection rate was 71.42%(10/14).The detection rate of proteinuria in female SLE patients was 62.10%(77/124).2.The serum uric acid in the proteinuria group [5.47(4.27,6.75)mg/dl]higher than the non-proteinuria group [4.32(3.57,5.20)mg/dl](P=0.010).3.There was a statistically significant difference in Hb,ALB,TG,24 h urinary protein,C3,ESR,CRP,SLEDAI between the two groups(P<0.05).And there was no significant difference in age, course of disease,SBP,DBP,and eGFR between the two groups(P>0.05).4.24 h urinary protein levels were positively correlated with serum uric acid(r=0.255,P=0.003),ESR(r=0.307,P<0.001),SLEDAI(r=0.346,P<0.001).24 h urinary protein was negatively correlated with albumin level(r=-0.575,P<0.001).5.Risk factor analysis showed serum uric acid(?=0.237,OR=1.267,95%CI:1.026-1.565,P=0.028),ESR(?=0.023,OR=1.023,95%CI:1.004-1.043,P=0.016),SLEDAI(?=0.126,OR=1.134,95%CI:1.027-1.252,P=0.013),albumin(?=-0.135,OR=0.874,95%CI:0.800-0.954,P=0.003)is an independent risk factor for proteinuria in SLE patients.Conclusions:1.The detection rate of proteinuria in patients with SLE in this research was 63.04%,The detection rate Proteinuria of male SLE patients was 71.42%.The detection rate of proteinuria of female SLE patients was 62.10%.2.Elevated serum uric acid is an important risk factor for proteinuria in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, the level was positively correlated with 24 h urinary protein levels.
