Objective:By measuring the levels of SAA and PTX3 in the serum of PM/DM patients,to study the relationship between SAA,PTX3 and the pathogenesis of PM/DM.Further explore the significance of both in the occurrence and development of PM/DM,and to provide new ideas for the judgment and treatment of PM/DM conditions. Methods: The content of SAA in serum of patients before treatment, after 6 months of follow-up and normal control group was determined by immune nephelometry. The content of PTX3 in serum of patients and control group was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The analysis of serum SAA and PTX3 levels, and correlation test. Results: The levels of SAA and PTX3 in the serum of PM patients were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);the levels of SAA and PTX3 in the serum of DM patients were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of SAA and PTX3 in serum of PM patients were not significantly different from those of DM patients(P> 0.05).2.The pre-treatment VAS scores and serum SAA levels in PM patients were higher than those after treatment(P<0.05).The pre-treatment VAS scores and serum SAA levels in DM patients were higher than those after treatment.Statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The serum levels of SAA and PTX3 in patients withPM and DM before treatment were positively correlated(r=0.913,0.877,P<0.05).The serum levels of SAA and VAS in patients with PM and DM before treatment were positively correlated(r=0.865,0.866,P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between VAS scores and serum SAA levels in patients with PM and DM before treatment.(r=0.848,0.980,P <0.05);VAS scores and serum SAA levels were positively correlated after treatment in patients with PM and DM(r = 0.753,0.787,P < 0.05).Conclusions: It is indicated that SAA and PTX3 may be involved in the pathogenesis of PM / DM,and SAA may be related to their activity.
