Objective: To detect the serum level of MBL and MIP-1? between patients with pulrnonary tuberculosis and healthy controls in Tibetan and Han nationality,in order to further understand the change and significance of the serum level of MBL and MIP-1? in Tibetan and Han nationality tuberculosis patients and to explore the possible pathogenesis of tuberculosis, and analyze whether there are differences in the expression levels of MBL and MIP-1? at different ages and genders. Methods: A case-control study was conducted.43 cases of ethnic Tibetan patients and 31 cases of ethnic Han patients with pulrnonary tuberculosis in our Hospital and other Hospital were enrolled from December 2015 to December 2016.42 cases of healthy ethnic Tibetan people and 43 cases of healthy ethnic Han people in the medical center of our Hospital were selected as control groups. These four groups were matched with age, gender.Serum samples were collected from peripheral venous blood, and the serum concentration of MBL and MIP-1? were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: 1.Compared with the same ethnic group, there were differences in the serum MBL and MIP-1? levels between the healthy control group and the case group.of the Tibetan and the Han nationality in Qinghai region(P<0.05).2.Comparison among different ethnic groups: There were differences in MBL and MIP-1? between healthy Tibetans and Han Chinese(P<0.05).There was a difference in MBL between Tibetan tuberculosis and Han Chinese tuberculosis(P<0.05).There was no difference in MIP-1? between the Tibetan tuberculosis group and the Han nationality tuberculosis group.(P>0.05).3.In the case groups, there were no differences in the expression level of MBL and MIP-1? in different ages and genders.Conclusions:1.MBL and MIP-1? were significantly elevated in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, suggesting that MBL and MIP-1? may be involved in the pathogenesis of tuberculosis in Qinghai region.2.There were differences in serum MBL between Tibetan and Han Chinese healthy control group and case group, indicating that serum MBL may be one of the related factors of high incidence and serious disease of Tibetan tuberculosis.3.Gender and age may have little effect on MBL and MIP-1?.
