Ki-67?NSE And ProGRP In Gastrointestinal Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (NEC) Relevance Study Of Expression

Objective: In this study,the expression of pathological Ki-67,values of serum tumor markers NSE and Pro GRP in patients with gastrointestinal neuroendocrine carcinoma were observed to explore the expression correlation in diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal neuroendocrine carcinoma.Methods: The complete clinical data of 61 patients with gastrointestinal neuroendocrine carcinoma confirmed by surgical excision or tissue biopsy from January 2012 to December 2017 in Qing Hai University affiliated Hospital were collected,including surgery,palliative chemotherapy,other treatments and all NEC patients who abandoned treatment.The Ki-67 values of all specimens were determined by immunohistochemistry and the serum NSE and Pro GRP were measured by chemiluminescence method,and complete and true records and statistical analysis was performed.Results:1.In this study,the male/female ratio of GI-NEC patients was 1.8: 1,with an average age of 58.82 years,with a median age of 58 years,and the peak age of onset was 50-69 years old.The distribution of the primary sites was 39 cases in the stomach(63.93%),8 cases in the colon(13.11%),6 cases in the ileocecal region(9.84%),5 cases in the esophagus(8.20%),and 3 cases in the small intestine(4.92%).The clinical stages of NEC patients in this study were phase II(10,16.39%),phase III(33,64.1%),and phase IV(18,29.51%).2.There was a positive correlation between NSE,Pro-G,and Ki-67.The spearman correlation coefficient between ki-67 > 20 ~ 55% group and Pro GRP was-0.276(p > 0.05),there was a negative correlation,and the remaining groups were positively correlated.3.In comparison of Ki-67 in different factors,such as age,sex,nationality,clinical stage,tumor location,tumor size and others,it was found that there was statistical difference between Ki-67 and different clinical stages and tumor size(P < 0.05).However,in the stratification analysis of Ki-67,it was found that there was only statistical difference between Ki-67 and tumor size in Ki-67 ? 20~55% group(P<0.05).In the Ki-67 ? 55 ~ 100% groups,there was no statistical difference between Ki-67 and above factors(P>0.05).Serum NSE showed no statistical difference in the comparison of above different factors(P>0.05),and serum Pro GRP was only statistically different at different clinical stages(P<0.05).Conclusion: The expression of Ki-67,NSE and PG were closely associated with the occurrence and development of gastrointestinal neuroendocrine carcinoma,and had certain relationship with different factors.There were inconsistencies in the numerical changes of NSE and Pro GRP in different Ki-67 ranges,so it was inferred that there was certain heterogeneity in gastrointestinal neuroendocrine carcinoma.
