Objective: To research the pulmonary function parameters in healthy population at different altitudes with quantitative CT imaging technology, analyzing its changing rules and influence factors, correctly understand the changes of pulmonary function in healthy population at high altitude areas, interpreting the mechanism of pulmonary function injury in humans under hypoxic conditions, and provide theoretical support for the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary diseases in high altitude area. Methods: Collect 10 healthy volunteers from plain area(Xi’an,average altitude of 356m),20 cases from moderate altitude area(Xining, average altitude of 2260m),and 20 cases from high altitude area(Guoluo,Yushu, average altitude of 4000m),all volunteers were adult men, aged eighteen to forty-five;All the inspection items were informed to every volunteers before scanning, computer tomograph scan at the end of the maximum inspiratory and maximum expiratory, the scan range cover from apex pulmonis to the costophrenic angle,All pulmonary function parameters data analysis by the the pulmonary function analysis software of GE AW 4.6 workstation, including the mean lung density and lung volume at the end of the maximum inspiratory and maximum expiratory, such as MLDin,MLDex,Vin,Vex,Vin-Vex,and Vin/Vex,make a contrastive analysis in these three groups which under different altitudes of these CT pulmonary function parameters, and find out the changing rule. Results:In different altitude regions, the MLDin difference between the three groups were not statistically significant(F=0.5010,P>0.05),the MLDex difference were statistically significant(F=17.177,P<0.05),the MLDex difference of plain group, middle altitude group of healthy volunteers was not statistically significant(P=0.877),but there were significant differences in the MLDex between plain, high altitude group and middle altitude, high altitude group(P<0.05);In different altitude regions, the Vin difference between the three groups were not statistically significant(F=0.162,P=0.851),but the Vex、Vin-Vex、Vin/Vex differences of these three groups in this experiment were statistically significant(P<0.05,F=13.292,6.033,10.693);the Vin-Vex,Vin/Vex differences of plain group, middle altitude group of healthy volunteers was not statistically significant(P>0.05),but the Vex,Vin-Vex,Vin/Vex differences between plain, high altitude group and middle altitude, high altitude group were statistically significant(P<0.05);look from the statistics data, the Vex of high altitude group was significantly higher than the other two groups, while the Vin-Vex was lower than that in plain group and middle altitude group.Conclusion:1.In different altitude regions, the MLDin and Vin were not notably changed with altitude, but the MLDex and Vex were changed significantly with the altitude, however the MLDex,Vin-Vex,Vin/Vex between plain and middle altitude group were not changed significantly.2.In order to adapt the hypoxic conditions at high altitude, and guarantee the body’s normal oxygen supply, the lung ventilation of the Human will be compensatory changes; In hypoxic conditions at high altitude areas, the most of the CT pulmonary ventilation parameters were lower than that in plain control group and middle altitude group, the Pulmonary ventilation function increased significantly.3.The higher the altitude is,the lower the MLDex and the greater the Vex are,in order to increase the contact area between lung tissue and oxygen and increase the dispersion of oxygen, the alveolar spaces were enlarge significantly, and guarantee the normal aerobic metabolism of the body.
