Objective To explore the application of augmented reality ass is ted 3Dimensional CT in retrosigmoid craniotomyMethods Forty-six patients undergoing retrosigmoid cranio to my were prospectively enrolled in our hospital from August 2016 to November 2017.The CT 3-dimensional reconstruction of the skull was preoperatively performed to form a 3-dimensional view of the patient's skull CT.Seek the transverse-sigmoid sinus groove junction of the internal view of skull by the imaging workstation operating window and simulate the burr-hole at the edge of transverse-sigmoid sinus groove junction.Save the imaging data and import it into the smartphone. To guide the location of the "key hole",the skull image with simulated drilling points is fused with the real skull image by the augmented reality during the operation. To verfify the accuracy of "key hole" location is based on the ability to expose the junction of the transverse sinus and sigmoid sinus. Results No sinus rupture in 46 cases. The "key hole" of 44 cases clearly showed the junction of the transverse sinus and sigmoid sinus.2 cases of "key hole" positioning slightly offset. After an average of(3 ± 0.2)mm of bone was removed laterally, the junction of the transverse sinus and sigmoid sinus was revealed. The surgical field is clearly exposed and the curative effecst are satisfactory. Conclusion Simulating the "key hole" position with preoperative CT skull 3-dimensional reconstruction and locating the "key hole" with the augmented reality during the operation can avoid the risk of sinus injury, realizing individual and accurate location of the "key hole".
