With the development of computer science and technology, computer vision and computer graphics field has been paid more and more attention by science researchers and social investment.Among the directions in those fields, face reconstruction is an important one and has been widely used in authentication, digital entertainment, intelligent equipment, criminal investigation and medical field.Because of the better reconstruction results,3D deformation model has become a hot research topic in human face reconstruction.Besides, point model methods, because of its convenience of getting data and its simple data structure, provides a new idea and method for the study of computer graphics. In this paper, according to the theory of computer graphics and digital image processing,we first analysis the modeling procedure of the G2 L model, and discuss the important technique of it.Then we introduce in the theory of point-based model method and Lie group theory, and provide a new view of point in mutiscale analysis and 3D face registration.
