Objective:The expression of SEPS1 gene in breast cancer was detected by immunohistochcmistry and real time PCR.And the relationship between the expression level of SEPS1 gene, and the clinicopathological features of breast cancer patients was statistically analyzed. To study its clinical evaluation in the expression of breast cancer. Methods: Fifty cases of breast cancer specimens and fifteen cases of para-cancer control group were collected. The adjacent normal tissues were selected in the adjacent control group.HE staining was first performed to distinguish between breast cancer and normal breast tissue. The expression of SEPS1 protein in breast cancer and adjacent tissues was examined by immunohistochemistry and real-time quantitative PCR.The relationship between the expression of SEPS1 protein and mRNA and clinicopathological features age and tumor size, clinical stage and whether the lympth node metastasis(ER and PR)was analyzed by ?2 test. Results: The expression level of SEPS1 in breast cancer tissues was lower than that in breast cancer control group(P <0.05).The expression level of SEPS1 in breast cancer tissues was lower than that in the control group(P <0.05),,and there was no significant correlation between age and tumor size(ER and PR)in patients with breast cancer(P> 0.05)Conclusion: The expression of SEPS1 gene in breast cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in normal tissues by immunohistochcmistry and Real-time PCR.SEPS1 may act as a potential regulatory target molecule in breast cancer, regulating SEPS1 expression may be a molecular mechanism that controls endothelial network stress-induced apoptosis. The results showed that SEPS1 gene might be a kind of Cancer factor to regulate the occurrence and development of cells. We also found that the higher the TNM stage and lympth node metastasis, the lower the expression level of SEPS1 gene, suggesting that the staging of breast cancer and lympth node metastasis will affect the expression of SEPS1 gene. There was no correlation between the expression level of SEPS1 gene and the age and tumor size and ER?PR of breast cancer patients.
