ObjectiveThe prupose of this study was to describe the Primiparas ’ maternal role Adaptation,general self-efficacy,social support,and depression in postpartum 3days and postpartum 6 weeks;to analyze the Influencing between maternal role adaptation and such factors as general demographics,general self-efficacy,social support,and postpartum depression after postnatal 3 days and 6 weeks.MethodsA descriptive design was used in this study.By convenient sampling,207 eligible primiparas were recruited from the department of Obstetrics,First Hospital of Lanzhou University during September 1,2016 to March 1,2017.Self-designed general condition questionnaires and general self-efficacy scales,social support scales,and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale were used for the questionnaire survey.SPSS20.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data.Single factor analysis,correlation analysis,and multiple stepwise regression methods were used to describe the influencing factors of maternal role adaptation during the Puerperium.Results1.The total scores of Primiparas ’ maternal role Adaptation were respectively 75.6(69.8-80.1)and 81.0(75.3-85.6)after 3 days and 6 weeks postpartum.There was a significant difference in maternal role adaptation scores at 2 points,and it showed an increasing trend.2.The total scores of Primiparas ’ general self-efficacy were respectively: 28.0(24.0-31.5),27.0(24.0-29.2)after 3 days and 6 weeks postpartum..There was a significant difference in Primiparas ’general self-efficacy scores at 2 points,and it showed a downward trend.3.The total scores of Primiparas ’ social support were respectively: 50.0(45.0-53.0)and 43.0(39.0-49.0),after 3 days and 6 weeks postpartum..There was a significant difference in Primiparas ’ social support scores at 2 points,and it showed a downward trend.4.The incidence of postpartum depression at 3 days and 6 weeks postpartum was 32.37% and 46.86%,respectively.The incidence of postpartum depression was significantly different at two time points,and it was on an upward trend.5.Multiple linear regression results showed that general self-efficacy and emotional support in social support explained 24.6% of the total variation in maternal role adaptation after 3 days;age,abortion experience,general self-efficacy,information support in social support,postpartum depression Explained 30.9% of the total variation in maternal role adaptation during the six weeks postpartum.ConclusionsThe postnatal maternal role adaptation total scores at 3 days and 6 weeks were similar to those of the previous studies,and all were at the mid-upper level,which was 75.6(69.8-80.1)81.0(75.3-85.6),showing an upward trend;age,general Self-efficacy,emotional support in social support,and postpartum depression are the main influencing factors for maternal role adaptation of puerperal period after 3 days;age,family per capita income,medical staff as the main source of knowledge,abortion experience,general self-efficacy,information in social support Support,postpartum depression are the main influencing factor of maternal role adaptation of puerperal period after 6 weeks.
