Objective: Observe the improvement of blood lipids, atherosclerosis index and other indicators of liucha in patients with familial hyperlipoproteinemia, evaluate the effectiveness of liucha in treatment of familial hyperlipoproteinemia. So as to explore an effective and convenient promotion of new options for the treatment of hyperlipoproteinemia, and liucha will provide a new direction for the treatment of hyperlipoproteinemia lipid-lowering therapy. Methods: Six families were selected from the fifteen major science and technology project(2002ba711a08-17),according to the diagnostic criteria of pedigrees, six families are divided into FHTG family group,FCHL family group and FH family group. Then, using the method of stratified random sampling divide the three groups into the liucha group and the ale group, each group of 15 people. The liucha group was given the treatment of the liucha soaked in water,The ale group was given atorvastatin calcium tablets for treatment.9 weeks for a period of treatment.Observe two groups of patients with curative effect, the indicators before and after treatment of blood lipid and atherosclerosis index changes.Through comparing the liucha group and ale group adverse reactions that may occur during the experiment, combining ale reports of adverse drug reactions, description of liucha in the safety in the process of lipid. In the case of familial hypercholesterolemia, explore the possible mechanism of lipid-lowering of liucha.Results:1.Efficacy evaluation(1)Comparison of blood lipid levels: After treatment,TC,LDL-C,and TG in the Liucha group and the Ale group were lower than before treatment, and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),there was no statistically significant difference in the reduction of TC and LDL-C between the Liucha and Ale groups(P>0.05).But the difference between Liucha and Ale group in reducing TG was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Comparison of the total efficiency of clinical efficacy: After treatment, there were 11 cases markedly effective in the liucha group,3 cases effective, and 1 case ineffective. After treatment in the Ale group,13 cases were markedly effective,1 case effective, and 1 case ineffective. The total effective rate of both groups was 93.33%.The total effective rate of the twogroups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(3)Comparison of atherosclerosis index(AI): After treatment, the AI index of the Liucha group was lower than before treatment, and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),However,there was no statistically significant difference between the Liu tea group and the Ale group(P>0.05).2.Comparing adverse reactions in liucha and ale groupsAdverse reactions occurred in the liucha group and the Ale group during treatment.Three patients in the liucha group developed semiliquid stool. Two patients in the Ale group had stomach discomfort. The response was mild and they could tolerate without affecting daily life and work.Semiliquid stool in the group of liucha likely to related to the role of the detoxification-induced stagnation product of liucha. Conclusion:Liucha can effectively reduce the levels of TC,LDL-C and TG in patients with familial hyperlipoproteinemia.
