BackgroundCurrently, along with the continuous improvement of China's economic strength, the living standards of people have been improving, and people's demand for health care continues to increase. At the same time, with the reform of the medical system, the competition among medical institutions is becoming increasingly fierce. In order to improve the level of medical services, hospitals gain a greater share of the medical market, and growing demand for high-quality,sophisticated,and sharp medical equipment. To a large extent,an important trend in hospital development and construction is the introduction of large-scale medical equipment.Without large-scale medical equipment, many medical works cannot be carried out effectively,so that there will be serious adverse effects on its development.Hospitals need the expensive equipment, but at the same time they must consider whether they can help the hospital increase economic efficiency. If it is introduced at a time when it is inappropriate, the higher cost will bring great economic pressure to the hospital.Under such circumstances, the question of when to introduce and introduce what kind of equipment has become a problem that many hospital decision makers actively think about. Objective:This article analyzes the cost structure, economic benefits, and fuzzy concepts commonly used in equipment purchases through literature survey, cost and benefit analysis, and fuzzy mathematics to from a hospital perspective, and provides equipment reference suggestions and decision-making basis for managers and decision makers. Methods:This thesis started from the perspective of hospitals, reviewed the macro-control and micro-management of large-scale medical equipment in some developed countries through literature surveys, and then discussed the macro-policies and micro-levels that hospitals should consider when introducing large-scale medical equipment combining our national conditions. At the same time, taking a hospital as an example, collected relevant data to understand its purchase requirements, principles, specific goals, etc.,and applied cost-benefit analysis and fuzzy mathematics to analyze the cost structure and economic benefits of two different configurations of linear accelerators at different prices.Commonly used fuzzy concepts such as "brand","quality","after-sales",etc.were analyzed in the equipment purchase.Result:After cost and benefit analysis, although the annual average net income benefit of Type A linear accelerator is not as good as that of Type B linear accelerator,Type A linear accelerator has more advantages in terms of investment recovery period, rate of return on investment and net present value. On this basis, associated with the fuzzy mathematics analysis method, the comprehensive evaluation of A-type linear accelerator is better than B-type linear accelerator in terms of economic evaluation, brand, and after-sales service. Thus,a decision can be made to purchase the A-type linear accelerator. Conclusion:Hospitals cannot simply draw a conclusion on whether to purchase or which equipment should be purchased by one method but should make comprehensive evaluation in many aspects. For example, making a quantitative analysis of housing reconstruction, equipment prices, investment recovery period, rate of return on investment, different brands of similar equipment,after-sales service and other aspects. On the specific proposals for equipment purchasing, this paper puts forward a series of practical and feasible suggestions based on the case hospital,so as to guide the work practice with advanced theoretical methods.
