Clinical Observation Of Skin Soft Tissue Lysis And Free Skin Grafting In The Treatment Of Type Ⅱ Of Congenital Clasped Thumb

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of skin soft tissue lysis and free skin grafting in the treatment of Type Ⅱ of congenital clasped thumb.Method:22 children with congenital clasped thumbs(22hands)treated from June 2014 to June 2017 in our hospital were selected.All the children received the combined therapy of skin soft tissue lysis and free skin grafting.The clinical effect,malformation angle and complications were evaluated.Result:After surgery,the good rate was 90.91%.The scores on the range of motion,joint stability and malformation angle after surgery were(1.54±0.28),(0.84±0.08)and(1.68±0.29),which the scores were higher than before(0.82±0.14),(0.49±0.06)and(0.92±0.23),P<0.05;before surgery,the radial abduction angle,palmar abduction angle and straight angle of the dorsal thumbs were(24.76±4.38)°,(20.56±2.89)° and(-24.28±5.63)°,which the angles were significantly different than after(44.21 ±4.38)°,(44.34±3.52)° and(-2.16±0.43)°,p<0.05.After surgery,there were 2cases of secondary malformation,which the joint function was recovered after treatment.There were 2 cases of mild infection,which the patients were recovered upon the regular medical prescription and anti-infection therapy.There were no serious complications.Conclusion:The combined method of skin soft tissue lysis and free skin grafting can increase the good rate,improve the malformation conditions,recover the joint function and reduce the incidence rate of postoperative complications.
