Objective:To compare the efficacy of laparoscopic fenestration(LF)and open fenestration(OF)in the treatment of hepatic cyst from the perspective of evidence-based medicine and provide more reliable basis for the treatment of hepatic cyst. Methods:PubMed,EMBase,CNKI,CBM,WanFang and other databases were collected. All the collected datas of LF and OF were used to treat liver cysts. All the retrieval time was up to January,2017.We used the RevMan 5.3 software provided by the Cochrane collaboration network for Meta analysis. This research's main outcome indicators included operation time, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay, postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery time, postoperative complications and postoperative time return to normal activities. The two categorical variables were compared by using odds ratios(OR)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)to represent the statistical index of curative effect. The continuous variables were compared by using the weighted mean difference(MD)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)to represent the statistical index of curative effect.I~2 test was used to quantitative evaluation of the heterogeneity of the size, the I~2 value was bigger, the heterogeneity is more obvious,We use the fixed effect model to statistics on no significant heterogeneity(I~2?50%)data,We use the random effects mode to statistics on significant heterogeneity(I~2>50%)data.Results:According to literature search,a total of 33 articles met the inclusion criteria, including 2246 cases of hepatic cysts, including 1145 cases in group LF and 1101cases in group OF.The results of Meta analysis showed that laparoscopic fenestration had shorter operation time, less intraoperative bleeding, shorter hospital stay, early recovery ofgastrointestinal function after surgery, less postoperative complications and shorter postoperative recovery time of normal activity than open fenestration in the treatment of hepatic cyst. All the differences from the study were statistically significant. Conclusion:For the Chinese population, the clinical effect of laparoscopic fenestration in the treatment of hepatic cysts is obviously better than that of open fenestration. This method is really worthy of clinical promotion. This conclusion also proves that laparoscopic surgery is more advantageous than the traditional open operation. However, due to the lack of English literature,it is still worth more recent research to see whether laparoscopic fenestration is equally effective for the treatment of hepatic cysts in the European and American population.
