Objective:To analyze the incidence, risk factors, and long-term effects of acute seizures in patients with frontal lobe lesions with seizures. Methods:Retrospective analysis from January 2013 to December 2014 in the Department of Neurosurgery,First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University surgical treatment of 124 cases of patients with seizures of the frontal lobe, according to the week after the onset of acute epilepsy were divided into Experimental group and control group, their follow-up>3years.To analyze the postoperative APOS risk factors and their effects on long-term efficacy.Result: APOS occurred in 32 patients(27.59%).APOS group and non-APOS group were more susceptible to postoperative infection(P<0.05),while gender, ethnicity, age of onset, operation age and duration of disease were not statistically significant(P>0.05).APOS group,24 cases disappeared,non-APOS group 84 cases without seizures, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Correlation studies showed that APOS was positively correlated with infection. Conclusion:Patients with epilepsy in the frontal lobe can obtain better therapeutic effect through surgery.APOS can cause APOS after operation, and APOS patients have poor long-term efficacy after operation.
