ObjectiveInvestigating the general information, mindfulness level, health behaviors and coping styles among patients with coronary heart disease and to analyze general information on affecting mindfulness level, health behaviors and coping styles.Analysis of the relationship among mindfulness level and health behaviors, coping styles in patients. So as to provide scientific basis for increasing mindfulness level, improving health behaviors, and transforming coping styles of patients with coronary heart disease. To provide clinical theory evidence to implement the interventions of mindfulness in patients for clinical staff.MethodsThis study used convenience sampling method, were selected inpatients of cardiology department from the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University, the third Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University in Jinzhou as the research object. The general data questionnaire,Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile-II,Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire and Mindful Attention Awareness Scale were used to survey. The data were analyzed by SPSS17.0respectively through descriptive analysis, the analysis ofvariance,t-test,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.Results1.Coronary artery atherosclerosis patients health behaviors scores were(119.16±20.14),the overall level is general(68.5%),the scores of coping styles were respectively confrontation(20.11±3.97),avoidance(16.37±3.49),yield(9.41±3.00),the scores of mindfulness level were(53.74±10.74),which was at the middle level(77.5%).2.Differences on the health behaviors of patients with coronary heart disease in age, residence, education level, family personal monthly income, hospitalization payment method,self-conscious severity were statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Differences on confrontation of patients with coronary heart disease in age, education level, family relationship, personal monthly income, alcohol were statistically significant(P<0.05),differences on avoidance and yield of patients in education level,self-conscious severity were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Differences on mindfulness level of patients with coronary heart disease in age, residence, education level, family relationship, personal monthly income, hospitalization payment method,self-conscious severity and disease course, interventional therapy, alcohol and smoking were statistically significant(P<0.05).5.The results of correlation analysis showed, health behaviors were positively correlated with confrontation(r=0.388,P<0.05),negatively correlated with avoidance and yield(r=-0.239,r=-0.360,P<0.05),the scores of mindfulness level among patients with coronary heart disease were positively correlated with health behaviors(r=0.467,P<0.05),positively correlated with confrontation(r=0.417,P<0.05),negatively correlated with avoidance and yield(r=-0.299,r=-0.402,P<0.05).6.The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that residence, interventional therapy, personal monthly income had a positive effect on mindfulness level,alcohol,self-conscious severity, disease course had a negative effect on mindfulness level;Mindfulness and family relationship had a positive effect on confrontation, mindfulness and educational level had a negative effect on avoidance and yield,self-conscious severity could positively predict avoidance and yield, mindfulness, confrontation, personal monthly income, hospitalization payment method could positively predict health behaviors, yield and age had a negative effect on health behaviors.Conclusions1.The mindfulness level and health behaviors level of patients with coronary heart disease need improved.2.Patients with coronary heart disease who were older, more educated, family income higher, city living, free medical service, the health behavior was higher,self-conscious more severity, the health behavior was lower.3.Patients with coronary heart disease who were younger, family relationship better, family income higher, more educated, never alcohol choose confrontation, patients with less educated,self-conscious severity choose yield and avoidance.4.Patients with coronary heart disease who were more educated, family relationship better, family income higher, city living, the mindfulness level was higher, patients who was older,self-paying,self-conscious more severity, disease course longer, smoking and alcohol, the mindfulness level was lower.5.Positive coping style is helpful to the implementation of health behaviors. The mindfulness level of patients with confrontation was higher thanavoidance and yield;Patients with high mindfulness level had higher health behaviors.6.To increase the mindfulness level of patients with coronary heart disease can improve coping strategy applied, and increasing the level of health behaviors, which is helpful to patients' physical and psychological health.
