The Effects Of Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule On Rats With Congestive Heart Failure After Myocardial Infarction

Purpose:To observe the effects of Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule on rats with congestive heart failure(CHF)after myocardial infarction and to explore the potential mechanism of the anti-CHF effects.Methods:A congestive heart failure model on rats was performed with ligation of left anterior descending coronary artery inducing myocardial infarction.Rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:control group,western medicine group,low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group,and high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group.Several indexes including HR.RRI,SAP,DAP,MAP,PP,dp/dtmax,-dp/dtmax,Lvedp,HW/BW and LVW/BW were detected,while Bcl-2 and Bax were measured by western blot method.Results:1.The level of Lvedp in western medicine group,low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group,and high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group were lower than control group.The level of dp/dtmax in low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group,and high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group were higher than western medicine group and control group,while the level of dp/dtmax in high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group was higher than low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group.The level of-dp/dtmax in western medicine group and high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group were higher than control group and low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group.2.The level of HW/BW in western medicine group,low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group,and high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group were lower than control group,while HW/BW level in high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group was lower than western medicine group and low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group.The level of LVW/BW in western medicine group,low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group,and high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group were lower than control group,while the level of LVW/BW in western medicine group and high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group was lower than low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group.3.The level of Bax in western medicine group,low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group,and high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group were lower than control group,while Bax level in high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group waslower than western medicine group and low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group.The level of Bcl-2 and Bcl-2/Bax in western medicine group,low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group,and high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group were higher than control group,while Bcl-2 and Bcl-2/Bax level in high dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group were higher than western medicine group and low dose Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule group.Conclusion:1.Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule can lower the preload of the heart,and improve both systolic and diastolic cardiac function.2.Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule may probably inhibit ventricular remodeling.3.Jiangzhong Qiangxin Granule can break the signal transduction pathway of cell apoptosis,and may showed a significant effect of anti-apoptosis in CHF.
