Effect Of Prescription Of Soothing The Liver And Benefiting The Kidney Along With Surrounding Acupuncture On Chloasma

Objective:To observe the effect of prescription of soothing the liver and benefiting the kidney along with surrounding acupuncture on chloasma,To explore whether the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and chloasma,body acupuncture and circumscribed acupuncture can play a better therapeutic effect for liver stagnation and kidney deficiency.Methods:60 chloasma patients were randomly divided into 3 groups with 20 patients in each group.Patients in treatment group were treated with Chinese medicine and surrounding acupuncture.Control group was treated with Chinese medicine alone.Another control group was treated with surrounding acupuncture alone.Patients were evaluated with skin leision,including area and color,based on the clinical diagnosis and treatment effect of chloasma standard(revised in 2003).Higher scores indicates higher severity of chooasma.The data are processed by SPSS22.0 statistical analysis software.Results:(1)Compared with the control group,there were significant differences in the total integral of skin lesion,decrease index,area integral and color integral between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05).(2)The effective percentage of treatment group was 85%while the effective percentage of two control groups was 50%and 35%,The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(3)The TCM syndromes of the treatment group and the control group were improved,but the improvement of the treatment group was obviously better than that of the control group.Conclusion:For the patients with chloasma due to liver-depression and kidney-deficiency,the combination of Chinese medicine and acupuncture is a treatment with the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine;which is low-cost and effective.It is worthy of clinical promotion.
