Objective:Uterine myoma is the most common benign tumor of the female reproductive system.According to statistics, about 20% women in childbearing age with uterine fibroids have clinical symptoms and manifestations, such as menstrual changes, and even anemia, however some women with a tumor have not any symptoms. In the past time,Uterine leiomyoma was treated by surgical removal of the uterus.Nowadays, with the improvement of people's health awareness, people realize that the uterus is not only the organs of the fetus, but also the target organs of the female hormone progesterone. For the benign tumor of the uterus, improving the clinical symptoms, keeping the uterus would be better in line with people's health needs. In recent years,a number of non surgical treatment methods for uterine fibroids appear, and radio frequency treatment is one of non operation treatment methods,it has been in many hospitals widely carried out.The purpose of this study is to explore the efficacy and safety of radiofrequency in the treatment of uterine fibroids.Methods:53 patients with uterine fibroids were treated by radiofrequency ablation in our hospital from October 2013 to September 2015.The patients were treated by self contrast method through measuring the size of the tumor after one month, three month, six month and observing the occurrence and severity of complications to predicate the safety and feasibility of radiofrequency treatment.Results:53 cases were treated with ultrasound-guided by radiofrequency ablation, and all of them were reduced in size,The total effective rate was 94%.Menorrhagia,menostaxis,dysmenorrhea,leucorrhea,urination and defecation of the clinical symptoms were partially remitted.53 cases had no serious complications, there were abdominal pain(17 cases),fever(10 cases),vaginal bleeding(15 cases),vaginal discharge(24 cases),cervical adhesions(1 cases)in 53 patients,After treatment, symptoms were relieved or disappeared,no serious complications appeared. Conclusion:Radiofrequency ablation is a safe and effective means of treatment for uterine leiomyoma,it can achieve the goal of remitig symptoms and preserving the uterus.
