The Validation Study On The Theory Of "Kidney Advocate Bone,Liver Advocate Muscle"

Objective To illustrate the close relationship among liver,kidney and bone metabolism,certificate the traditional and scientific Chinese medicine theory about "kidney advocate bone,liver advocate muscle",and explore the mechanism of liver and kidney damage on abnormal bone metabolism,and provide predictive and reference for clinical prevention of liver and kidney and bone disease.Methods 1.The study of the bone metabolism in patients of liver-kidney yin deficiency:to analyze the different levels of the bone metabolic markers in the three groups of the liver-kidney Yin deficiency group,the non-liver-kidney Yin deficiency group and the normal controls group.2.The study of the relationship between bone metabolism and liver and kidney function in patients with osteoporosis:to give patients with osteoporosis for syndrome differentiation of TCM,and analyze the different levels of bone metabolic markers,liver and kidney function in the two groups of the patients with osteoporosis group and the normal controls group.3.The study of the relationship between bone metabolism and liver and kidney function in patients with osteoarthritis:to give patients with osteoarthritis for syndrome differentiation of TCM,and analyze the different levels of bone metabolic markers,liver and kidney function in the two groups of the patients with osteoarthritis group and the normal controls group.Results 1.Comparing with the normal controls group,the levels of PINP,P-CTX and N-MID levels of the liver-kidney Yin deficiency group are increased,the differences are statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Liver-kidney asthenia type and qi and blood stasis type are the main syndromes in the patients with osteoporosis.Osteoporosis group compared with normal controls,the levels of β-CTX,N-MID,AST,TBA,ALP,UREA,CysC are increased(P<0.05),but the levels of TP,ALB are reduced(P<0.01).3.Liver-kidney asthenia type and qi and blood stasis type are the main syndromes in the patients with osteoarthritis.Osteoarthritis group compared with normal controls,the levels of PTH,PINP,β-CTX,N-MID,AST,GGT,TBA,ALP,UREA,CysC are increased(P<0.05),but the levels of TP,ALB are reduced(P<0.01).Conclusion This paper has shown that there is a close relationship among liver,kidney and bone,and liver-kidney deficiency maybe is a mechanism of bone metabolism disease.The science of the TCM theory of "kidney advocate bone,liver advocate muscle" has been proved.
