Background Ankylosing spondylitis(AS)is an idiopathic, chronic inflammation of the joints to the main axis of systemic disease, lesions mainly involving the sacroiliac joints, intervertebral ligament calcification and fibrosis and nearby bony ankylosis often occurs,it pathological changes characteristic of tendon, ligament, bone lesions attachment points. The lesions characterized by lesions usually involving the sacroiliac joints, intervertebral disc calcification of ligaments and accessories often occurs, not timely diagnosis and treatment can occur rigid spine and severe joint deformity.Sacroiliitis is a pathological hallmark of ankylosing spondylitis,is often one of the earliest pathological manifestations.Periarticular pathology showed synovial hyperplasia, lymphoid infiltration and pannus formation, but there is no common RA synovial villus proliferation of fibroblasts and deposition ulceration.New research shows,AS cartilage damage primarily from the subchondral bone inflammation, tendon and bone portion gradually develop into chondrocytes(from inside to outside),but starting from the RA synovitis mainly, the gradual emergence of subchondral bone and cartilage damage(from outside to inside).Domestic scholars found our AS hip involvement rate of about 60%,severe hip deformity patients will change lifelong disability, loss of labor, decreased quality of life.In recent years, studies have shown that oxidative stress involved in the occurrence and development of AS.In AS patients neutrophil activation, reactive oxygen species, resulting in oxidative stress.Yazici,C and other studies have shown that elevated myeloperoxidase activity in vivo and advanced oxidation protein products in patients with AS level, and sulfhydryl levels decreased, suggesting that activated neutrophils play an important role in the mechanism of pathogenesis of AS.Ozgocmen,S et al,active blood malondialdehyde levels in patients with AS catalase activity increased compared with normal control group, and catalase activity and disease activity index erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein was significantly positively correlated, and think over activity of hydrogen peroxide is increased superoxide anion increased reactivity.Meanwhile AS patient is in a state of oxidative stress imbalance often detected a variety of autoantibodies, abnormal activity of B lymphocytes. Objective By measuring TAS,SOD level compared with healthy patients with AS serum antioxidant markers TAS,SOD differences, and to explore the clinical significance of serum antioxidant capacity in the AS.And analyze the relationship between TAS and SOD concentrations and AS disease activity indicators,a more comprehensive assessment of AS patients with anti-oxidative capacity situation and infer its relationship with disease activity, investigate antioxidant capacity in AS pathogenesis and disease progression effect. In looking for ways to assist the diagnosis of AS and AS reflect disease activity, new indicators predict changes in condition to provide theoretical and clinical guidance for AS activity judgment. Methods Collected from January 2016 to December 2016 at Chenzhou NO.1 People's Hospital Division of Rheumatology treated and complete clinical data of 46 patients with AS as the case group, male 41 cases,5 females were collected from the same period,Chenzhou NO.1 People's Hospital Medical Center healthy 46 cases as control group. Two groups of antioxidant indicators index oxide, inflammatory cytokines and inflammatory markers were detected and analyzed with ankylosing spondylitis correlation.Results:1.Ankylosing spondylitis serum antioxidant index SOD,CAT,TAS compared with healthy subjects, the serum concentration has a significant decrease.2.Serum oxidative indexes in patients with ankylosing spondylitis ROS,RNS,MDA compared with healthy subjects, the serum concentration has increased significantly.3.Ankylosing spondylitis patients serum inflammatory factors indicators IL-1?,TNF-? compared with healthy subjects, the serum concentration has increased significantly.4.Ankylosing spondylitis serum inflammatory markers ESR,Hs-CRP compared to healthy subjects, the serum concentration has increased significantly.5.Activity of ankylosing spondylitis and antioxidant indicators SOD,CAT,TAS was negatively correlated.6.Activity of ankylosing spondylitis and oxidative indexes ROS,RNS,MDA was positively correlated.7.Activity of ankylosing spondylitis was positively correlated with indicators of inflammatory cytokines IL-1?,TNF-?.8.Activity of ankylosing spondylitis and inflammatory markers ESR,Hs-CRP was positively correlated.9.Logistic regression analysis is suggest that SOD?ROS were closely related to the degree of motion of ankylosing spondylitis and TNF-??ESR?hs CRP.Conclusion:1.Ankylosing spondylitis pathological process in the presence of significantly increased oxidative capacity, decreased antioxidant capacity changes.2.The oxidative stress in the pathological process of ankylosing spondylitis is related to the degree of disease activity(BASDIA)and the level of inflammation...
