Objective:To investigate the association of IKZF1 gene single nucleotide polymorphism rs 11978267 with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in children in China.Methods:190 cases which were diagnosed as acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL)and 270 controls were enrolled in this study from May to December 2015 in Zhejiang University Medical College Affiliated Children's Hospital.Genome-wide extraction kit was used to extract the whole blood genomic.PCR was used to amplify IKZF1 gene polymorphism loci rs11978267 and massarray analyzer compac mass spectrometry method was used to detect gene polymorphism loci rs11978267.SPSS 18 and shesis online software were used for statistical analysis.Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium law was used to detect the genotype frequency distribution among the groups.Pearson's chi-square test or Fisher's exact test were used to compare the genotype frequencies and the allele frequencies of the case and control group.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyse the relevance of rs11978267 gene polymorphism and ALL.Results:In age and sex between the ALL group and the control group, there was no significant difference(P>0.05).The frequency distribution of polymorphic loci rs11978267 in the two groups showed the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium(P>0.05).There was no statistical significance(Chi2=0.514,P=0.774)in GG,AG and AA genotype frequency between ALL group and the control group. Moreover,no statistical significance was found in the risk allele A frequency distribution(Chi2=0.045,OR=1.042,95%CI:0.715?1.518,P=0.832).The Genotype distribution had no obvious correlation with the immune classification, chromosomal abnormalities or fusion gene.Conclusion:IKZF1 gene polymorphic loci rs11978267 may be no relevance with Chinese children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
