Health is not only the absence of disease or having strong body, but also concludes physical health, mental health, social adaptability and good morality.Because of its intrinsic value and instrumental value, health becomes one of the primary purposes of human development.Since the reform and opening up,China's economics developed rapidly.GDP has increased to 26 times than original and the Gini coefficient became more than double. But some studies said that the health of Chinese Residents didn't achieve the high-speed growth like income.Based on this background and the relevant literature, this paper analyses the health factors theoretically, including income, education, occupation and demographic characteristics. The data of this paper come from China Statistical Yearbook,China Health Statistical Yearbook and China Family Health Panel Survey.Using these data explores the healthy status of Chinese residents from the macro and micro perspective. The content of empirical analysis is divided into three parts.Firstly, based on CFPS data, this paper uses first order dominant method, median method and the index I to compare the provinces health and measure health inequality of 25 provinces. The results show that Chinese provinces have different health status and health level are decreasing from east to west, but health inequalities are increasing from east to west.Secondly, based on China statistical Yearbook and China health statistics Yearbook data, the paper uses the space fixed effects model of SDM to explore spatial link between health and the its factors, measure the direct and spillover effects of income, education, income disparity and other factors. The results show that income and education have a positive impact on health, the widening income gap is not conducive to the improvement of health, but also the population structure and improve the environment for healthy and significant effect.Thirdly, based on 2010 and 2012 data CFPS,the paper uses oprobit model and E index to measure and decompose the Chinese health inequality. The results showed that income, education and age,sex and other demographic characteristics affect individual's health significantly.Income distribution and income mobility is the main reason for the expansion of health inequalities, which happens in area groups and sex groups. In order to improve health and reduce health inequalities caused by economic status, the government should develop the economy, improve people's income, reduce the proportion of low-income;improve the level of education in poor areas and rural areas;reform the household registration system;improve public services building. This paper describes the definition of health and the main factors and understand health and health inequalities deeper. This paper uses the new methods to compare and measure Chinese health statue. This study can rich empirical research on health.
