| Currently,cardiovascular disease has become one of the world’s highest incidence of disease,which is a serious threat to the human health.The rapid development of medical imaging technology makes the means of clinical diagnosis of cardiovascular disease become more and more rich,and the accuracy is higher and higher.The main diagnostic methods include:Electrocardiogram,Echocardiogram,MRI,CT,Coronary Angiography and Radionuclide Examination,etc.Ultrasonic imaging has been used as an important method for diagnosis of heart disease and heart function evaluation because of its advantages of non-infringement,low cost,convenience and real-time motion display of organs and tissues.The segmentation of echocardiogram can extract the important contour information of the heart,thus to help doctors improve the diagnostic efficiency and accuracy.Meanwhile,it is the basis of the echocardiogram motion analysis.Active shape model method and level set method as two kinds of classical segmentation algorithm have been widely used in the segmentation of ultrasound image sequences.However,because of the low quality and resolution of the ultrasound image,segmentation of echocardiographic image sequence is faced with many difficulties.ASM method need to manually tag landmarks,which makes the algorithm’s degree of automation is low and makes the algorithm’s robustness is not good.Unfortunately,the level set method is so sensitive to the initial set of the zero level set and its segmentation result of ultrasound image which has many noises is badly.Meanwhile,due to the complexity of the cardiac motion and the dramatically movement between the opening and closing of atrioventricular valve,segmentation of ultrasound image is faced with many challenges.Given the traditional approach in cardiac ultrasound image sequences segmentation vulnerable to the complicated movement of the heart and the noises,we add the ASM shape model in the level set method.The ASM based level set method can improve the influence of the noises,due to the constraint of the ASM shape model.Meanwhile,because of the intrinsic advantage of the level set method,the improved method in this paper makes the result of the edge information better.Finally,based on the segmentation result of the improved method in this paper,the synchronicity of four chambers of heart were estimated. |
