Objective: 1.To describe the status of anxiety,depression and self-management behavior of young patients with stroke.2.To analyze the differences of anxiety,depression and self-management behavior of young patients with stroke in the general demographic characteristics.3.To explore the relationship between anxiety.depression and self-management behavior of young patients with stroke.Method:A descriptive correlational design was used in this study.During the period from June 2016 to January 2017,a questionnaire survey was conducted on young patients with stroke by convenience sampling method in two comprehensive hospitals in Wuhan.Research tools include the general demographic characteristics questionnaire,Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),stroke self-management behavior Scale.Using SPSS22.0 software for data analysis and processing.Results: 1.The status of anxiety,depression and self-management behavior of young patients with stroke.(1)The incidence of anxiety in young stroke patients was 30.3%,the incidence of depression was 36.7%.(2)The prevalence of anxiety and depression in young stroke patients were higher than domestic norm,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).(3)The total score of self-management behavior was(157.02 + 19.29),the score index of self-management behavior of 61.6%.2.The difference of anxiety,depression and self-management behavior of young patients with stroke in the general demographic characteristics.(1)There were significant differences of anxiety and depression in the general demographic characteristics.The sex,marital status,payment method,and family monthly income had significant effects on anxiety and depression.(2)There were significant differences of self-management behavior in the general demographic characteristics.The education level,work status,payment method,family monthly income had significant effects on self-management behavior.3.Relationship with anxiety,depression and self-management behavior of patients with young stroke.The relationship between the total score of anxiety and the total score of self-management behavior and score of five dimension(safety medication management,daily life management,emotional management,social function and interpersonal management,rehabilitation management)was negative correlation.The relationship between the total score of depression and the total score of self-management behavior and score of four dimension(safety medication management,daily life management,emotional management,social function and interpersonal management)was negative correlation.Conclusion: 1.The incidence of anxiety and depression in young stroke patients was much higher than normal population.2.Self-management behavior of young stroke patients was in the middle level.3.The status of anxiety and depression in young stroke patients was influenced by sex,marital status,payment method,family monthly income.Self-management behavior was influenced by education,job status,payment method,family monthly income,residence.4.Anxiety and depression symptoms were negatively correlated with self-management behavior in young stroke patients.The more anxiety and depression symptoms,the worse their self-management behavior.
