Background:Atrial septal defects(ASD)is one of the most common congenital heart disease in clinical work. Most of them is closed by the traditional way.Although traditional thoracotomy atrial septal defect closure has exact clinical effect on adults and children,it still can not ignore its trauma to human body.Purpose:Comprehensive retrospective analysis and comparison of the clinical application and safety of atrial septal defect closure by thoracoscopy, atrial septal defect closure by the chest small incision and the traditional atrial septal defect repair.Materials and methods:The clinical data of 61 cases of atrial septal defect closure by the chest small incision,39 cases of atrial septal defect closure under thoracoscopy and 138 cases of traditional atrial septal defect repair from January 2010 to August 2017 were collected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University.Compare the time of operation, postoperative drainage, postoperative ICU hospital admission and the time of endotracheal intubation. All data were processed and analyzed by SPSS23.0 software, with P < 0.05 as statistically significant.Result:Closure of atrial septal defect by chest small incision in 61 cases,of which 1 cases were converted to traditional atrial septal defect repair, and 1 cases died of postoperative complications.39 cases of atrial septal defect closure under thoracoscopy was completed successfully.103 cases of traditional atrial septal defect repair were performed under thoracotomy. The time of operation, the flow rate, the time of removal of endotracheal intubation and the length of hospital stay in ICU were all statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Atrial septal defect closure by the chest small incision compared with the other two operations, there are shorter operative time, less intraoperative blood loss, drainage volume and shorter hospitalization time.
