Eye health plays a key role in human health.In recent years,the problem of eye is increasingly prominent.In particular,the number of patient grows rapidly and the trend of youthization is obvious.However,the existing equipment of detecting visual function and fundus cannot meet various demands of people because of its disadvantages of large volume,high price and required complex operations.The popularity of mobile terminal such as smartphone and tablet,which is small,portable,cheap and easy to operate,provides a new direction for the development of detection equipment.So in this paper,we study the detection technologies of visual function and fundus on the basis of mobile terminal,and aim to provide a portable,fast and accurate detection technology of visual function and fundus for ordinary families and astronauts.In this paper,after studying the theories of detecting visual acuity and contrast sensitivity,we designed an intelligent detection process,a judgment method and a reasonable transformation and control method of visual icon for visual acuity and contrast sensitivity detection.Compared with the traditional detection methods,these new methods improve the detection speed,enhance the randomness of the visual icon,reduce the influence of the memory and improve the accuracy of the long-term visual function monitoring.Besides,we designed a new interactive mode for special cases on the basis of natural speech recognition technology,which effectively improves the easy-using of system.In order to ensure the accuracy of the detection distance,we developed two realtime methods based on smartphone,real-time method based on eye recognition and real-time method based on portable labels.Then,we compared these two methods through experiments and drew a conclusion that the real-time method based on portable labels,which is more accurate and stable,is more suitable for real-time measurement of detection distance.In addition,we made full use of the hardware resources of smartphone,such as camera and LED flash,and designed a portable equipment of detecting fundus based on a smartphone in this paper.The LED flash is used as the lighting source and a optical prism is used to transform optical path.A structure,which is one part of imaging system,is designed to adjust refraction.Meanwhile,an adapter structure was designed and made to connect and fix the lighting system and the imaging system through Solidworks software and 3D printing technology.Finally,an initial fundus image was obtained by this method,which demonstrated the feasibility of the portable fundus detection method based on smartphone.The test of visual function and fundus detection has proved that the system can easily,quickly and accurately detect visual acuity and color contrast sensitivity,and get initial fundus images.Currently,the system has been used to detect visual function of astronauts pracically.In the future,the system will achieve automatic detection and diagnosis,as well as data interconnection with hospitals and doctors,allowing people to master the status of their eye health even though they stay at home.
