AIM:To investigate the the relationship between fragmented QRS and heart function in patient after acute myocardial infarction.METHODS: The case assessed 157 cases of patients with acute myocardial infarction.According to the the presence of fQRS on standard electrocardiogram within 72 h hospitalization, patients were divided into two groups, group fQRS(n=118)and group nfQRS(n=39).All the patients were followed up for 2 year. The baseline date, coronary angiography, laboratory examination, echocardiography,Killip heart function classification of the all casees detected were compared among groups.RESULTS: 1.There are no significance in the compare of baseline date between two groups. The NT-proBNP value in f QRS group was higher than than in nfQRS group.2.The average value of LV?PA ?RA in group f QRS were observably higher than that in the group nfQRS.But the average value of AO,AVO,LA,LV,RV,IVSP,LVDP between two groups were no different(P>0.05).3.During the period of hospitalization,fQRS group had higher proportion of abnormal ventricular wall motionm, abnormal left ventricular systolic function. The resaults about Killip heart function classification of two groups show that,Killip heart function classification of group fQRS were worse than the group of nfQRS.4.Compared to nf QRS group in three-branch patients, the fQRS group had higher proportion of abnormal ventricular wall motionm and higher abnormal left ventricular systolic function than.5.During a two-year follow-up,fQRS group had higher proportion of abnormal ventricular wall motionm, abnormal left ventricular systolic function than the group of nfQRS.6.No significant difference was found in various indexes between the two-year follow-up and the period of hospitaliazation in group fQRS,but the proportion of abnormal left ventricular systolic function were decreased from 28.2% to 17.1% in group nfQRS.Conclusion: The incidence of fQRS in patients with acute myocardial infarction indicate a bad heart function.
